Let’s be honest, this is basically an ode to pumpkin spice everything. I am a big fan of seasonal flavors and pumpkin is no exception to the rule. I went a bit overboard with Fall food spirit this year so I created a list of my favorite fall foods that you can purchase and a couple of recipes that I tried and loved! Brace yourself, there is a whollllottaa pumpkin ahead.
Purchased favorites:
Pumpkin Spice Frosted Mini Wheats
If you’re debating about trying Pumpkin Spice Frosted Mini or Pumpkin Spice Cheerios, I vote Mini Wheats for sure!
Honey Roasted Pumpkin Ravioli
Specifically, from Trader Joe’s. It’s only $3.49 a package and tastes delicious served with just a little bit of butter!
Pumpkin Chai Latte
Unpopular opinion: PSLs are not my favorite fall drink. I get one a year to pay homage to my fellow fall basics (with a flavor shot of caramel), but in general, I can live without. However, I tried Starbuck’s Pumpkin Chai Latte recently and I was in love! Prompted me to order Tazo’s Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte mix so fingers crossed that tastes just as good!
Recipes:
Pumpkin Alfredo
To be honest, I was a little skeptical about this recipe. However, when I tried it I saw the light! Super delicious and easy to make (just 5 ingredients!)! I used this recipe from Pinch of Yum.
Pumpkin Banana Pancakes
Sunday morning, I woke up with a dilemma. I had leftover pumpkin, rapidly ripening bananas, and an empty stomach. Lightbulb moment led me to Pinterest to search for a pancake recipe that included both pumpkin and bananas! I made this recipe from Gimme Delicious and I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious my pancakes were with a side of bacon! Bonus: there are also gluten free and paleo options for the recipe.
Broccoli Cheese Stuffed Spaghetti Squash
Gasp! A non-pumpkin fall favorite!? Alas, I discovered the joy of spaghetti squash thanks to Domestic Superhero. I plan to try many more and plan to experiment more with squash. I plan on whipping up my first butternut squash dish soon!
As warned, a lot of my fall favorite foods (ok all but one) were of the pumpkin variety. However, according to my Instagram poll, a majority of you agreed that “the limit does not exist” when it comes to pumpkin flavors in the Fall!!
What are your favorite fall foods? I’ll even accept those of the non-pumpkin variety!
♥ Cierra
omg I am buying/making all of these this fall! I love how easy the recipes are.
I’m actually not a fan of the PSL either *gasp* and often go for a caramel apple spice or something like that, but I’ll give the chai latte one a try!
All the different squash varieties are on a constant rotation for my fall meal prepping, for sure!
Yessss! Simplicity is one of the things I look for in a recipe haha. Let me know if you have any favorites!
I’m going to try the caramel apple spice. I tend to be more of a mocha girl!
Also, could you link one of your favorite squash recipes on here or facebook? I’m looking for new ones to try!

Usually I just roast the squash in the oven and put it in buddha bowls, etc – nothing fancy! But I want to try these recipes soon:

https://aseasyasapplepie.com/roasted-pumpkin-apple-soup/
These look delicious! Also, its perfect because I just went apple picking and was brainstorming some things that I could do with them. I’ll let you know when I try one! Thanks Allison!
Caramel Apple Spice all the wayyyyyy
I’ll definitely try it soon!!
PSC – nice 🙂
