In the last few days of February, I felt myself getting really worked up about the month ahead. I complained to everyone that March was going to be a tough one because I have sooo much going on in all areas of life–personal, work, and blogging. Why would I want to bring that negative energy into a brand new month? Sometimes you have to give yourself a little reality check. Yes, this month is going to be super busy and there are going to be times where I will cherish the ability to sit still. But do you know what else this month is going to be? It’s going to be a great opportunity to travel, celebrate, and showcase my abilities. Positivity is a practice Ambitious Fam, which means sometimes it takes a little bit of extra work!
Here is how I am finding balance this March:
Graduation!
Cue the pomp and circumstance, ya girl is finally walking across the stage! It’s going to be so weird to officially close that chapter of my life. Studying to get my Master’s degree on top of everything else that I was pursuing was not an easy feat. I am so grateful for all of the support that I have received along the way. I’m excited to walk across the stage and know that my parents are there cheering for me in the stands. Look Momma, I made it!
Mindset Master Social
The month of the first Positivity Charge pop-up event of the year has arrived! I’m going to make the quick trip up to Philadelphia for the Mindset Master Social which is intended to challenge my mental fitness. There are so many things to look forward to this event! For one, it will be my first experience with Cacao Sound Meditation. I am also looking forward to learning about journaling techniques. Journaling has become an important part of my routine, so I am always down to learn more! The event also includes brunch, a keynote speaker, and SWAG. Here is more information about ticketing and the event if you are interested in joining me!
Captain Marvel
Whenever there is a new release in the Marvel Universe, just expect it to show up on my list. I am excited to see how Marvel showcases this female superhero into the MCU. This really should go without saying, but if you are interested in seeing the movie please remember to stay through the credits! Nothing screams Marvel newbie than exiting the theater as soon as the credits start to roll. The end credit scenes are where all of the good information is!
Girl, Stop Apologizing
AH! Rachel Hollis’ follow up novel to Girl, Wash Your Face officially releases TOMORROW! I pre-ordered Girl, Stop Apologizing and I am resisting the urge to go pick up an additional copy because I can’t wait for it to get to my house (rumor has it, quite a few stores have already put the book on the shelves). I am beyond excited to read the book this month!
March Exercise Challenge
I recently wrote a post about the techniques that I am using to get back on track with my habit training, including my fitness goals. In effort to honor that, I decided that I want to complete the March Exercise Challenge through the Apple Watch Activity App. The challenge is simple: reach my exercise goal 17 times this month. Though I have a busy month ahead, I am up to the challenge!
Find Clothes a New Home
I finally (FINALLY) got around to separating out my giant pile of clothing that no longer sparked joy into groups of which items will be donated versus which items will be sold. Now it’s time to take the steps to get the clothing to their new homes. I am probably going to go the P
Humpty Dumplings
When my sister and I were first brainstorming our first trip to Philadelphia, it was solely based upon my desire to try this restaurant that served deliciously different dumplings. At the time, I had no idea that life would take me to Philadelphia on several occasions for work with the Positivity Charge! Long story short, I still have not made it to the restaurant and I am dying to try them. Planning on swinging by there when I am in Philly this month!
Bake a Pie
I love to cook, but baking terrifies me. Actually, when I have to cook anything with dough, I’m out. Therefore, I have never actually baked a pie before. With Pi Day around the corner, I felt like it was a good try to attempt one. Any of my baking friends out there want to help?
This month, I am hoping to incorporate balance into my life by being present and embracing the chaos.
