In the last few days have you been overcome with the feeling of restlessness and excitement? Are you suddenly really happy, eating lighter, craving nature, or in the mood to clean? I’m here to announce that you may just have Spring Fever (it’s a semi-real thing! Look it up!). Apparently, Spring Fever can manifest itself in several mood-altering, behavioral, or even physical changes! I know I caught the bug because not only am I excited and ready to pack away my winter clothes, but I am having a hard time resisting the urge to shop for new Spring pieces (though tbh, I want to shop more often than not). I rounded up a couple of Spring pieces that are currently on my shopping wish list. Happy shopping!

Spring Layers
My white denim jacket was my favorite layer last year during the spring and summer months. It was perfect to throw over a dress while the weather transitioned and often stayed with me in the summer to counter the chill of an air-conditioned office. Though mine served me well, I am tempted to purchase this white denim jacket from Macy’s (Three). It has the cutest peplum detail in the back!
I also have been loving the look of blazers lately. This pink linen blazer from J. Crew Factory (Two) would be a fun addition to anyone looking to brighten their office attire.
Spring Dresses
There is no surprise that many of the items that I am looking forward to purchasing for spring are dresses! I have been dying to get my hands on a Gal Meets Glam dress ever since Julia announced the venture. However, I have had a hard time rationalizing the expense (believe me, I have tried to persuade myself on several occasions). This gorgeous peach Aurora maxi dress (One) is from the March 2019 collection and NEEDS to come with me to Charleston. While I mulled that decision over, I did browse Nordstrom Rack and discovered that they carry some of the previously released styles at a fraction of the price! I loved the Helen dress in pink (Five) when it came out and Nordstrom Rack is now selling them for 55% off of the original price, which definitely makes it worth the wait.
Another dress that I have my eye on is the navy Geo Pleated Henley Dress from Loft (Seven). I am a fan of how it combines the look of the pleated midi skirt and a shirt into one piece! Everyone knows that I LOVE LOFT, but one of my rules is to never buy anything full priced. Fingers crossed that this dress goes on sale soon!
Lastly, I saw this floral printed number from Old Navy (Eight) and I thought that it was so cute! It was tough for me to decide which color option that I liked best for the season, so definitely take a look to see which one fits your style best!
P.S. Check out this post for two other dresses that I already bought and love!
Spring Others
It wasn’t until recently that I discovered an appreciation for midi pieces. I have always aired towards the shorter lengths because I thought that longer length options didn’t look good on me. Now that I have discovered the error of my ways, I am definitely looking to add more midi pieces to my wardrobe. This white pleated option (Four) from Loft would be great for a nice, clean (but fun!) look. Imagine all the twirls that you could do (is that not your favorite part of wearing a pleated skirt???!)!
Speaking of fun, rompers are a great functional piece for when you want to look nice but have an active day ahead. The fun print and ruffle detail on this Loft romper (Six)
I’ll be tending to my symptoms of Spring Fever with a healthy dose of shopping (Doctor’s orders!). What are you currently shopping for this season?
