Hey Ambitious Fam! It’s the last Friday of March, so I’m currently evaluating my progress on my March Bucket List. Only a few more days to complete the list! Make sure to check back in next week for my March Wrap Up post.
At this time last week, I was waiting to board my flight to the Sunshine State for graduation. One of my favorite aspects of travel is the exposure to different colors. I’ve always had trouble explaining this phenomenon, but trust me, it’s a thing. In Florida, all of the colors were so much more bright and more vibrant than what I have been exposed to in the DC Area lately. As I type, the sky is completely overcast; reminiscent of winter with the temperature of spring (no complaints there).
Here are five things that gave me all the feels this week:
Spending time on the Disney Boardwalk. Look at the colors!
Body Love by Kelly LeVeque
I temporarily paused my reading of Girl, Stop Apologizing because I got HOOKED after reading a few pages of Body Love by Kelly LeVeque. She spoke to every nerdy part of me when she got into the science of wellness and giving your body the nutrients that it needs. There will be a future post reviewing the books that I have read so far this year, but spoiler alert, this was a good one.
Collagen Peptides
I mentioned on Instagram a while back that I was on the hunt for a new protein powder that I can mix into smoothies. Unfortunately, I did not have any luck…until now! I finally found collagen peptides that I like! Collagen peptides are a little different from your standard whey or plant powders because they are not a complete protein. However, they are full of their own benefits including the promotion of skin and joint health. I have tried other collagen peptides before, but I could NOT get over the taste of the “unflavored” powders, no matter what I mixed it in. Someone suggested the use of the Vanilla Coconut flavor of the Primal Kitchen Collagen Fuel and can I just say GAME CHANGER. The flavor harmonized so well with my overnight oats that I had to share it with you all. Can’t wait to try it out in a smoothie soon!
Chia Seed Pudding Recipe
In (late) honor of National Chia Day, I used the tiny superfood from Navita Organics to make a recipe posted by Melissa (@theskinnyaffair) on the Positivity Charge blog. Not only was it SO good, but it was super easy to make. My best description for the
Allergy Testing
I have all the feels about this, alright. ITCHY! No one told me that I would have huge itchy welts on my back for DAYS after the test!
All dramatics aside, allergy testing wasn’t a bad experience and I am excited that I finally have some clarity. I have to go back for some additional testing, but it looks like I outgrew most of my childhood allergies (yay!).

Best Amazon Find
I found the cutest 6-pack of striped bow headbands on Amazon for just $12! They are as comfortable as they are functional. The bow aspect of the headband contains wire so that you can shape or style it as you please.
So many fun finds! Love those headbands-Amazon always has the best things. So hard not to spend all my money there!
Thank you so much! I totally agree. Amazon gets way too much of my money haha
