Happy Friday, Ambitious Fam! If you follow me over on Instagram, then you may have heard that I had a MAJOR website glitch that took me out of commission for a little while. That’s why you may have seen an error screen when you tried to visit the site. You may also have noticed that things look a little bit different now. After some troubleshooting, I was able to establish a temporary website layout (which you are viewing at the time of this post) until I am able to relaunch Ambitiously Cierra’s new look. Stay tuned!
For now, I thought that the return of posting called for a Friday Feels post! Here are five things that gave me all the feels this week:
Donation Gathering
I can’t pretend to know or understand all of the intricacies of the situation unfolding in Afghanistan. The images and reports have been terrifying and my heart truly goes out to everyone that has been impacted. There are many places that are accepting donations to help refugees get the supplies that they need to survive and settle in new areas. My friend Sara shared that she was donating to Afghan families resettling in the DMV area through Lapis and I vowed to join her. They have an extensive list of items that they are accepting and I’m in the process of gathering them. If you can, I would encourage you to find ways that you can help in your area.
Side Hustle Generation
Are you a creative, entrepreneur, and dreamer looking for a podcast to keep you inspired on your journey? Well, do I have a recommendation for you! My friend Kasi just started her podcast, Side Hustle Generation, and she is already knocking it out of the park!! Literally hooked after the first episode! As a side-hustler myself, I really connected to the guests that she has had on the pod so far. There is just something so special about hearing other people’s journeys. It helps keep things in perspective and I feel like there is always something you can learn from their view on life. Return to YouTube
Speaking of Kasi, I always like to remind folks that she is the same wonderful friend that helped me create my YouTube channel at the end of 2019! Since then I’ve been pretty inconsistent for a number of reasons, but I’m back with more videos. Head over to my channel to check out this week’s video about the Do One Thing Challenge. I’ll also be sharing more about the challenge here soon!

Emily Henry Books
I’ve been on a major reading kick lately and I have been making my way through my TBR pile. You may have seen these books floating around on social media and for good reason! I finished Beach Read in July, (4 stars) and I am almost finished with People We Meet on Vacation. Such great summer reads! If you are looking to hold on to the last bit of summer, def recommend adding People We Meet on Vacation to your list!
Fall on the Horizon
Me on the other hand, I’m thrilled that it’s almost one of my favorite times of the year–PUMPKIN SEASON! The recent bouts of rainy weather and the trickle out of pumpkin products has me super excited for Fall. I know that we are still about a month out from the ~official~ start of Fall, but I already have my pumpkin spice coffee syrup ready! I’ve also been prepping to launch some Fall products on Ambitiously You (launching on Tuesday, 8/24!) and I’ve been thinking about switching up my style a little as I prep for what I like to call “dark” Cierra. Basically, I’ve started counting down the days!
