Happy New Year, Ambitious Fam! I’ve been easing into 2023 after a holiday season filled with family time. You may have noticed that I haven’t been posting on the blog as much in the last couple of years. Though I missed it, I was very much so in a season of change and it required a lot of my energy. Lately, I have been considering the future of Ambitiously Cierra (and Ambitiously You), what I want this space and the associated social accounts to look like, and my goals for the brand. I’m still fine-tuning everything, but I can reveal that this website is transitioning to becoming more of a hub. A place where you (my Ambition Fam) can read the latest blog posts, catch up on recent YouTube videos, and easily access my other projects/products. I’m excited about what this space has in store for the year and I would like to thank YOU for continuing the journey with me.
Without further ado, here is the first bucket list of 2023!

Set up 2023 Planners
New year, new planner! When I got my new iPad, I made the switch to digital planning and I haven’t looked back. This year, in addition to the 2023 Flourish Planner, I also purchased the new FP Notion Template. I’ll be setting it up soon and trying it out to see if it’s a good fit for me!
Schedule 2023 Appointments
When the pandemic hit in 2020, I drastically reduced attending wellness appointments. Unfortunately, this habit has continued and now I can’t remember the last time I had an eye exam, etc. Though winter illness is running rampant right now, I really think that I can’t put off the wellness checks any longer. I finally scheduled a physical, but I will also take the first steps in my other health areas by scheduling appointments this month.
Try LECA for a houseplant
Now that I have maintained (mostly) my houseplant collection and even ventured into gardening in 2022, I have reached my next plant stage: experimenting with lightweight expanded clay aggregate (LECA). This growing medium is semi-hydroponics meaning that there is no soil involved! Many turn to LECA for their finicky or rare plants because there are many benefits that soil/potting mix just can’t live up to. There is also a bit of a learning curve, so I’ll let you know how it goes!
Try a new eco-friendly product
While sustainability doesn’t always mean purchasing something new, there are a few products that I have been wanting to try as a swap for items that I already use. This month, I plan to try a new product that addresses a pain point that I have been experiencing lately.
Plan Birthday Celebration!
Aquarius season is on the horizon and I have been going back and forth about how I want to celebrate my milestone birthday. As a friend recently stated, I “gotta decide girlfriend!” This month I’m making decisions, creating/sending invites, and getting ready for my February shenans.
Cross items off 30 before 30 Bucket List
Speaking of milestone birthdays, my window for crossing items off of my 30 before 30 Bucket List is RAPIDLY closing. I mentioned in my 30 before 30 Revisited post that I don’t feel as attached to some of the items that I originally had on the list because I’m simply not the same person that I was when I wrote it. However, there are still a couple of things that I would like to do soooooo let the adventures begin!
Besides bucket lists, are there any other topics or content that you hope to see on the blog this year? Let me know in the comments!
