It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…
Happy December, Ambitious Fam! Last year my Christmas was a little bit of a disaster, so I’m looking forward to turning this holiday season around. I plan on fully diving into all of the Christmas cheer, treats, and activities!
Here is how I am finding balance this December:
Deck the Halls
I’ve been itching to decorate my apartment for the holiday season! This year, I am getting a real tree and I can’t wait to have the soft glow and fresh smell back into my space. I don’t go too overboard with decorations (small space probs) but I know that the small touches will go a long way in making me smile.
Enchant Christmas
This year I have the pleasure of being an ambassador for Enchant Christmas and I am so excited! Enchant is the world’s largest Christmas light maze featuring both a Christmas market and ice skating! The attraction is located at Nat’s stadium and will run until December 29th. I can’t wait to attend throughout the season! Look out for a vlog of my first experience coming to my brand new YouTube channel soon!
Go Ax Throwing
Tackling another item on my 30 before 30 Bucket List by going Ax Throwing this month with my gym friends! I have no idea how that is going to go, but I am sure that it is going to be an interesting experience. At the very least, I will have a little practice for any upcoming zombie apocalypses.
Hollis Advent Calendar
As a gift to people who purchased a Start Today journal this year, the Hollis company emailed out a Kindness and Gratitude Holiday Advent Calendar and I thought that it was a great idea. The calendar includes items to complete every day such as “offer to do a chore for someone.” Completing the calendar will serve as a great reminder to remember the spirit of the holiday season.
Co-host an NYE Party
My besties and I have been talking about co-hosting a New Year’s Eve party since the year began! Now that it’s December, it’s time to get serious about the planning. It will be great to be able to usher in a new decade together with our friends and family! Any guesses about what the theme will be? Let me know in the comments!
Homemade Eggnog Recipe
Eggnog is hands down my favorite holiday drink of the season. This year, I want to see if I have what it takes to make my own eggnog instead of purchasing it by the carton at the store. I will definitely share the recipe if it turns out well!
This month, I am hoping to incorporate balance into my life by fully engaging in the holiday season.
